Salesforce has introduced a hyper-scale data platform named Genie. The new data integration model came into existence to help organizations offer real-time information to their customers across sales, service, marketing, and commerce.
The new platform has been declared the biggest innovation in the history of Salesforce Company, facilitating a more personalized customer experience.
Genie simplifies, transforms, and organizes the data into a real-time customer graph to maintain a unified customer profile record.
Built on the Salesforce metadata model, the new platform offers visibility in graphs and an actionable approach across Customer 360, every industry solution, AppExchange, and customer apps.
“Every business leader wants to take advantage of real-time data to create compelling, personalized customer experiences — milliseconds matter in this new digital-first world,” said David Schmaier, President and Chief Product Officer of Salesforce. “That’s why we built Genie, our most significant innovation ever on the Salesforce Platform. Genie makes every part of Customer 360 more automated, intelligent, and real-time.”
The new platform is more than just a data integration layer. With the help of Genie, Einstein AI and Flow automation services can utilize the potency of hyper-scale real-time data to facilitate more dynamic and responsive moves and engagement.
Einstein, which develops over 175 billion forecasts daily, can now deliver personalization forecasts based on real-time data using Genie.
Using the New Data Platform, Flow automation, which saves customers over 100 billion hours every month, can use real-time data to trigger actions automatically.
Genie operates on Hyperforce, Salesforce’s public cloud infrastructure that delivers data residency, safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance management, with built-in data ethics traits that govern data and enhance consumer trust.
